Hello! And this is my blog that I will be updating around ten times throughout the year and I will be discussing the importance of sleep, how it could affect your lives, problems related to sleep and many other things.

First off, sleep is something that should occur with anything that has a brain. Sleep is something that happens when the creature would go into a state of rest when it has been relaxed enough whether it is deep sleep or not. The act of sleeping would differentiate depending on the species because we humans wouldn't sleep the same way a whale would sleep. Since a whale would normally be underwater, they would need to either be in an idle position, horizontally or vertically or they can end up being asleep and swimming slowly at the same time, meaning they would be what one would say, being ''half asleep''. That is pretty cool considering they're sleeping AND swimming at the SAME time, while watching their surroundings. Crazy, right!?

Well, since this is my introductory post, I will not really go in depth with my current post and will save that for later. Since sleep can't really be defined in ''my'' own opinion, I decided that I would split my posts into two parts. The first being that it will be about certain topics of sleep itself and the second being what I think of it and maybe including my personal point of view of the idea.I would like to inform you, the readers, that this blog will be based on my opinions, with the help of facts to help you the readers, know more on the subject of sleep. I chose the topic of sleep because I found it interesting and it is a subject that impacts the every day life and could maybe change your sleep schedule to something more appropriate/healthy.
Since this is a blog, I would appreciate that you would express your own opinion in the comment section below to give me your feedback, and I hope that you will also enjoy my posts to come. Have a great day!

Ricky! I like the picture you included! Are you going to show us some statistics? Are you going to write about how teenagers need to get enough sleep, even though most aren't? What about getting too much sleep, what would that do to your body? What about new parents (i.e., Monsieur) who get limited amounts of sleep due to their new baby? What is the effect of staying up for long only to sleep for 4 hours? I'll follow your blog!
ReplyDeleteCamelia! Thank you for you positive feedback and I'll be sure to add more in my blog posts like statistics, videos and maybe even games if they're relevant to my topic. I'll take in consideration of your suggestions for my next posts to come. Thank you for reading and commenting on my blog and I'll try to follow your blog as well!
DeleteHello Mr.Chen, very interesting information on your topic choice but i feel like you need to include more statistics in your blog! And are you gonna talk about how phones and electronics keep kids up all night cause they can't let go of them? Can't wait to read your blog keep up the good work!
ReplyDeleteHello. Mr.Shifty, I thought about adding some statistics but I felt that it wasn't needed since this is my introduction post and it wouldn't feel right with statistics. And about kids not letting go of their electronics and staying up all night, they'll be included in one of my future post about 'addiction'. Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoy!
DeleteHey Ricky, I just read your first post and I really enjoyed it. I never knew there was so much different things about sleeping. I always thought I slept too much, is that a problem? If so, what are the side affects of it? I look forward to reading your future posts.
ReplyDeleteHello. Thank you for reading my post. I just posted a new post that talks about oversleeping, so if you want to know, go check it out!
Delete(It depends on how long you oversleep and can actually cause problems. However, the side effects of being dietetic, obese or increase death rate can apply to a lot of other things like eating fast food or something.)
