After making this blog, I have learned a lot more about the importance of sleep and how much it can affect someone's life.
- Whenever we hear about waking up sleepwalkers, we learn that waking up sleepwalkers should never happen since it will end up killing them and to guide them back to their bed. Well, the sleepwalker won't end up dying on you so that is a good thing, but some people might get agitated from suddenly waking up not in their bed. Just remember that if you see someone sleepwalking and see that they're about to do something that could be dangerous, you might wanna wake them up.
- Don't you ever have those moments in your dreams that you wake up suddenly, but you're still in your dream? Well, if not, maybe you don't remember? One thing that I didn't mention in the post was that you can in fact TRAIN yourself to lucid dream. That is insane.
- Ah, napping. The best thing to do when you're tired. In fact, some companies have sleep rooms where employees can sleep during their break. Make sure that you set an alarm for the time that you need to wake up. If not, then you're like me wanting to sleep around an hour but end up sleeping an extra five.
- Sleeping too long? Apparently, sleeping too long might affect your health, so if you're worried, might wanna check with a professional since safety is number one priority. Oh yeah. If you have problems waking up in the morning, just sleep earlier.
- Can't sleep? Or can't stay asleep? Then you might have insomnia. Considering that I am only someone on the internet that is not a professional in this domain, you might wanna check with a professional.
Okay people, this is my last blog post. I'm done.

Ok, so about the blog making sleep better thing... I'm the complete opposite being that I procrastinate and do my blog later a night. I also want to point out that you scared me shitless because i sleepwalk, wake up in my dreams, and sleep for way to long, should I be worried. Nah I'm living just fine.
ReplyDeleteSleepwalking and false awakening shouldn't really be a problem since it won't 'normally' kill you. The only time you might die while sleepwalking is if you start doing dangerous things. For false awakening, well you might if you got some health problems and start freaking out after you wake up. For sleeping too long, eh. If you got concerns on your health, you should ask a professional.
ReplyDeleteDuring weekends and breaks, I sleep on average 12-15 hours a day. And think that I am fine. Eh.
In the past, humans did not sleep once a day. They slept twice a day, but for shorter periods of time. Once during the day and once during the night for around 3-4 hours. So if you wake up in the middle of the night, it is fine. Nothing is wrong with you.
Good voice and personalization. Funny use of memes. My wife hates that I can fall asleep the second my head hits the pillow, and she’s often up for hours. Is there any reason for the different ways our bodies tackle sleep?
ReplyDeleteA few issues
- Spelling / Grammar (Just a few issues: Therefor, ones vs one’s, RIP in peace, etc.)
- Some formatting problems when it comes to spacing.
- Some confusing pics with no context given (ex. coin tossing while lucid dreaming?)
- Sourcing not always clear in the text itself (ex. lone quotation marks (“) that don’t finish, or who is Wilde in the napping post?)
Overall though, great work!
Hey Ricky! Brianna here. At first when I found out this was your topic I was quite intrigued, I didn't know how you could make a blog out of a topic like sleeping, but I guess you can make a blog out of any topic. Anyways, this blog could really relate to, especially when you said that you really need to fix your sleeping schedule, because I do too!! I think it might be a very common issue among teens these days, I wonder why. Speaking of sleep, I'm gonna go do that now.
